For six years, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa asked us to concept and produce their Hard Rock Girls Calendar. Each year, our charge was to create something new that we hadn't done before. There were years that we shot against a backdrop and designed a background later; some years we shot on location at the Hotel & Casino; other years we took the production off-site to a studio or to the beach. Mixing it up from year to year certainly made things challenging, fun and refreshing for our team. No matter where we shot the calendar, it was my job to schedule and coordinate the client's team and my creative team with the photographer and his assistants, the hair and makeup stylists and the custom wardrobe stylists, and the location--all of this with deadlines and budget concerns in mind. Once the shoots were done, we worked to design the entire calendar and get files off to the printer in time for the sales release.
